I wonder what Tachibana meant when he said he wish they hadn't met if he's like this now. It could be interpreted as him disappointed that Mikoto isn't where he normally would be and that he can't play with him at his best after finally healing or it could be interpreted as him annoyed after resenting him for causing the injury acting as the victim. I'm leaning more towards the former as he didn't look upset in the ending of the second episode so it'll be interesting to see how Mikoto will overcome this and will Tachibana be a factor in helping him heal from the trauma.

Damn, I feel bad for Takeda though. That must have been so humiliating, it makes sense why he's so affected by crowds, that feels like it'll be harder to get over compared to Mikoto's.

Considering their female co-worker was thirsty over Tomari's muscles, I was expecting the Tomari team members to be a lot more macho than what they are, minus Tachibana of course, but I guess the bodies here are more closer to realistic.

I think Tachibana is disappointed that Mikoto isn't playing up to his usual standard as well. However, I do think Tachibana might harbor some actual resentment toward Mikoto, not necessarily for causing his injury, but for never coming to check up on him or make any attempt to talk to him afterward.

Yeah, I'm sure Tachibana is hurt by that since they were partners.

I have same experience as him. I feel embarrassed knowing it not directed at me.

My pessimism has saved me from those kind of experiences, I think of the worst and expect the worst, I don't get ahead of myself and doubt those possibilities, it may sound sad or depressing, but believe it or not, this has led to a fulfilling life so far.

Something similar happened to me many years ago, I liked a guy and we spent a lot of time together during summer holidays he was showing that he was interested in me and his friends told me the same, so one day I confessed to him, not only he rejected me but he also came with his new girlfriend and a friend a few days later and they were all laughing at me. I have never confessed to anyone since that day. It was so humiliating :(
